Asteroid City

Set in 1955 in a small desert town in the American Southwest, Asteroid City revolves around a convention for young astronomy students. The town sits beside a huge meteorite crater, and each year it hosts the Junior Stargazer gathering, which brings together gifted pupils, their parents, teachers, astronomers and military personnel. This year's event is interrupted by developments that ripple far beyond the town and affect everyone who has gathered there.
