London

London is a drama about Syd, a young New Yorker still reeling from his breakup with London. When he learns she is leaving the city for Los Angeles with a new boyfriend, he decides to attend the farewell party her friends are throwing, despite not being invited. He brings along Bateman, a drug dealer he has just met, and the two of them shut themselves in the bathroom, consuming cocaine and arguing about love, sex, God and everything else, while Syd works up the nerve to face London before she goes.

Hunter Richards wrote and directed the film, his first feature as director, and it was released in 2005. Chris Evans plays Syd, Jessica Biel plays London, and Jason Statham plays Bateman, with supporting turns from Joy Bryant, Kelli Garner and Isla Fisher. The film runs 92 minutes and was made as a British-American production.

Audience response has been moderate: on IMDb it holds 6.3/10 from around 26,000 votes, while on TMDB it sits at 6/10 from a much smaller pool of 358 votes. Critics were considerably less enthusiastic, giving it 4.1/10 across 35 reviews, well below the audience scores.
