The Howling: Reborn

The Howling: Reborn centers on Will Kidman, a high school senior who has spent years unnoticed by his classmates. As graduation approaches, he finally connects with Eliana Wynter, the reserved girl he has long wanted to meet. At the same time, he learns something troubling about his own past: he is connected to a line of werewolves, and his transformation is beginning. Will struggles against the bloodlust rising in him while he and Eliana are hunted by a pack of creatures determined to kill them.

The film is a horror entry directed and written by Joe Nimziki, produced by Ernst Etchie Stroh, Joel Kastelberg and Kevin Kasha. It belongs to the Howling series and was released in 2011. Landon Liboiron plays Will, with Lindsey Shaw as Eliana Wynter, Ivana Miličević as Kathryn, Jesse Rath as Sachin, Niels Schneider as Roland and Erin Agostino as Regina.

Reception was weak. On IMDb the film holds a rating of 4.7 from 149 votes, while its critics' rating stands at 3.9 from six reviews, so the small group of critics who weighed in were slightly harsher than the audience. At 92 minutes, it is a short, modestly scaled genre release rather than a major theatrical event.
