Short description
A woman travels to Italy to investigate the truth behind her mother's past. Two decades earlier, her mother confessed to killing three people during an event involving an exorcism. While visiting a psychiatric facility for criminals, the daughter seeks the help of two young priests who employ unconventional methods combining science and religion to determine if her mother is mentally ill or possessed by multiple demons. This search leads her into a series of unauthorized exorcisms.
The horror thriller was directed by William Brent Bell, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Matthew Peterman. Within Bell's directing career, this film follows Stay Alive and precedes Wer. The cast features Fernanda Andrade as Isabella Rossi and Suzan Crowley as Maria Rossi, alongside Simon Quarterman, Evan Helmuth, Ionut Grama, and Bonnie Morgan.
