Confessions of an Invisible Girl is a Brazilian comedy and drama centered on Tetê, a bright but socially awkward 16-year-old who struggles to feel accepted at home and school. After moving with her parents to Rio de Janeiro to live with her grandmother in Copacabana, the teenager starts at a new school determined to leave behind past bullying and build a social life. While she strives to fit in and make friends, she faces opposition from the most popular girl in her class.
The film was directed by Bruno Garotti, following his previous works DJ Cinderella and Rich in Love. It was produced by Panorâmica and written by a team including Thalita Rebouças and Flávia Lins e Silva. The cast is led by Klara Castanho in the role of Têanira, alongside Gabriel Lima, Júlia Gomes, Marcus Bessa, Lucca Picon, and Caio Cabral. The movie features a credited cast of 26 actors.
