Suspicious River

Suspicious River is a Canadian drama about Leila Murray, a married woman working as a receptionist at a motel. To supplement her income and cope with her difficult life, she provides sexual services to the guests who stay there. Her routine changes when she meets Gary, an attractive man who arrives at the motel and represents a potential escape from her current circumstances.

The film was written and directed by Lynne Stopkewich, following her 1996 work Kissed and preceding October Kiss from 2015. The movie features Molly Parker in the lead role as Leila, alongside Callum Keith Rennie as Gary. The supporting cast includes Katie Keating, Joel Bissonnette, Deanna Milligan, and Sarah-Jane Redmond. The production was handled by the Okulitch-Pederson Company and Suspicious Films.
