Under Heaven

Under Heaven is a drama set in a secluded mountain village in Central Asia. The story follows two brothers, the rebellious Kerim and the conscientious Aman, who work alongside their mother in a family stonemasonry business. Their father is forced to work in Russia to settle debts caused by Kerim's involvement in drug dealing. Tension rises when both brothers develop feelings for a local woman named Saltanat, leading to a harsh conflict with tragic results. The plot serves as a modern adaptation of the biblical story of Cain and Abel.

The film was written and directed by Dalmira Tilepbergen and produced by Kyrgyzfilm in Kyrgyzstan. The cast features Anvar Osmonaliev and Nurjigit Kanaev as the brothers, with Munara Dooronbekova playing Saltanat and Taalai Abazova as the mother. Other roles include Asan Amanov as a stonemason and Marat Ibraev as an artist.
