Anna is a single mother and emergency doctor who strives to provide a better future for her daughter, Katia. After Katia is hit by a car, Anna faces a difficult moral choice when the driver's lawyers offer a large sum of money to avoid a trial. While Anna needs the funds to afford expensive medical treatment for her child, she must navigate a cold societal system and decide whether to accept the settlement or seek her own form of justice.
