Kings of Rap

Kings of Rap is a Ukrainian music drama centered on Kazan, a seventeen-year-old who has just finished school in a village. He aspires to find fame as a rapper and win the affection of a girl named Sveta. Although he is prepared to risk everything to achieve these goals, unexpected circumstances push his life toward a different path.

The film was directed by Myroslav Latyk, who also co-wrote the screenplay alongside Roman Mahruk and Oleksii Komarovskyi. This project was the first in a chronological sequence of films directed by Latyk, followed by The Leading Role in 2026. The production was supported by the Ukrainian State Film Agency, Kristi Films, and UPHub. The cast features Mykhailo Dziuba in the lead role of Kazan, with Anton Wellboy, Irma Vitovska, Karyna Khymchuk, Yurii Kulinich, and Dmytro Khomiak appearing in supporting roles.
