Tyson's Run

Tyson is a fifteen-year-old boy with autism who begins attending public school for the first time. While assisting his father with cleaning duties for a football team, he develops a friendship with Aklilu, a champion marathon runner. Despite lacking athletic experience and facing challenges at school, Tyson decides to train for his first marathon. He hopes that completing the race will earn him his father's approval and help his family prioritize one another. With support from his parents and an unexpected friend, he works to overcome his limitations.
