Pathaan

Pathaan is an Indian intelligence agent who is drawn into a mission to stop a threat to his country. A mercenary group and its ruthless leader, Jim, are behind a plan targeting India, and Pathaan's efforts to stop them are complicated when he discovers he has been drawn into a diversion. He finds an ally in Rubina Mohsin, a Pakistani agent, though the two must work through their own differences of loyalty while pursuing Jim. The film follows the chase across several countries and into the past that connects Pathaan and his adversary. It is the fourth film directed by Siddharth Anand, following Salaam Namaste, Bachna Ae Haseeno, Bang Bang! and War, with a screenplay by Shridhar Raghavan and Aditya Chopra producing.

Shah Rukh Khan plays Pathaan, with Deepika Padukone as Rubina Mohsin and John Abraham as Jim; Dimple Kapadia, Ashutosh Rana and Prakash Belawadi appear in supporting roles. The film was released in January 2023, with a reported budget of around 30 million dollars and a worldwide gross of roughly 127 million, meaning it earned several times its production cost. On IMDb it holds a rating of 5.8 from about 166,000 votes, while on TMDB it has a 6.4 from a much smaller number of votes. A film critics' rating of 7.1 from 33 reviews places it above both audience scores.
