Kho Gaye Hum Kahan centres on three close friends in their twenties living in Mumbai. Imaad, Ahana and Neil are each trying to find their footing in love, work and friendship, while social media shapes how they see themselves and one another. Romance, ambition and disappointment run alongside the pull of online life, and the film follows how the three of them navigate the distance between the versions of themselves they present and the ones they actually are.
Released in December 2023, the film runs 135 minutes and blends comedy with drama. It was directed by Arjun Varain Singh, who wrote the screenplay with Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti; Akhtar, Kagti, Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani were among the producers, with Excel Entertainment and Tiger Baby behind it. Siddhant Chaturvedi plays Imaad Ali, Ananya Panday plays Ahana Singh and Adarsh Gourav plays Neil Pereira. Kalki Koechlin, Anya Singh and Rohan Gurbaxani appear in supporting roles, and the production credits 44 cast members and 42 crew members.
On IMDb the film holds a rating of 7.3 from around 32,000 votes, while on TMDB it sits at 6.6 from roughly 79 votes. A critics' score of 6.8 from 15 reviews places critical opinion close to the larger audience rating on IMDb. The volume of votes on IMDb is substantially greater than on TMDB, and the two audience scores differ by a fairly wide margin.
