Beyond Evil

Larry and Barbara are newlyweds who travel to a luxury estate for their honeymoon. They soon discover the residence is haunted by the spirit of a voodoo queen who was killed a century prior. To achieve resurrection, the entity triggers a series of violent deaths as part of a ritual, eventually taking control of Barbara's body.

The horror film was directed by Herb Freed, who also served as a producer and co-writer alongside Paul Ross. This production was the first in a sequence of three films directed by Freed, followed by Graduation Day and Tomboy. The movie stars John Saxon and Lynda Day George as the couple, with supporting roles played by Michael Dante, Mario Milano, Janice Lynde, and David Opatoshu.
