Blood: The Last Vampire

Set in 1966 at the Yokota US Air Force base in Japan, this story follows a secret government effort to eliminate vampires that have infiltrated the area. A mysterious young woman named Saya, who possesses supernatural abilities and is a vampire herself, is sent to the base to hunt these creatures. Posing as a student at a local high school with the help of her liaison, David, Saya uses a katana to track down and destroy the demons. During her mission, she saves a school nurse named Makiho Amano, who witnesses Saya's combat skills.

The film was directed by Hiroyuki Kitakubo, following his work on Black Magic M-66 and Roujin Z. The screenplay was written by Kenji Kamiyama, and the production involved companies such as Aniplex, Production I.G, and Sony Computer Entertainment. The voice cast includes Youki Kudoh as Saya, Saemi Nakamura as Makiho Caroline Amano, and Joe Romersa as David. A total of 21 cast members and 46 crew members are credited.
