Troublemakers

Troublemakers is a western comedy about two estranged brothers, Travis and Moses, who have spent years apart and want nothing to do with each other. Their mother asks them to come home for Christmas and hopes to bring them back together. Travis, a professional gambler, sets off to find his brother, while Moses works as a bounty hunter and is busy pursuing the outlaw Sam Stone. The reunion does not go smoothly, and the brothers soon find themselves caught up in fights, chases and trouble with criminals.

The film was directed by Terence Hill, who also plays Travis, and it was his second turn behind the camera after Lucky Luke (1991). Bud Spencer appears as Moses, reuniting the long-running screen partnership between the two actors. The cast also includes Boots Southerland as Sam Stone, Ruth Buzzi as the brothers' mother, Neil Summers and Michael Huddleston.

Made in Germany, Italy and the United States by Rialto Film, the film runs 107 minutes. On IMDb it holds a rating of 6 out of 10 from around 5,000 votes, and on TMDB it has 6.2 out of 10 from roughly 256 votes. Both figures point to a modest but steady response from viewers, consistent with a comedy built around two well-known performers rather than a major critical success.
