One Hour Photo

Sy Parrish runs the photo lab at a SavMart discount store, where he has spent years developing film for the Yorkin family. He lives alone, and the Yorkins' pictures have become his window onto a life he does not have: a wife, a son, a house in the suburbs. He keeps copies of their photographs at home, follows the boy's growth from infancy, and gradually comes to think of himself as part of the household. When the family's circumstances change and his bond with them is threatened, he decides to intervene in their lives, with consequences that go well beyond the counter where he works.

One Hour Photo was released in 2002 and runs 96 minutes.
