Fast Charlie

Charlie Swift is a professional fixer and hit man who has spent years working for Stan Mullen, an aging mob boss in New Orleans. When a rival crew moves against Stan and wipes out his operation, Charlie is the only one left standing. He sets out to track down those responsible, and in doing so he gains an unexpected ally in Marcie Kramer, the former wife of one of his own targets. The two of them embark on a dangerous journey as Charlie works to settle the score for his friend and employer.

The film is directed by Phillip Noyce, whose sixteenth feature it is in chronological order, following The Desperate Hour in 2022. Richard Wenk wrote the screenplay, and the producers include Daniel Grodnik, Brent C. Johnson and Jeff Holland. Pierce Brosnan plays Charlie, with Morena Baccarin as Marcie and James Caan as Stan. Gbenga Akinnagbe, Christopher Matthew Cook and David Chattam also appear among the 23 credited cast members, while 80 crew members are credited.

Made for a budget of 20 million US dollars, this American production was released in December 2023 and runs 90 minutes.
