Short description
Fires are raging in the Moscow region, and the forest protection airbase is on a rotation. However, experienced firefighters are in short supply and team leader Andrey Pavlovich has to take on a new recruit, Roman.
What's left behind the scenes
- The scene of extinguishing the forest fire, which involved a Be-200 amphibious aircraft, was filmed simultaneously with six cameras.
- Igor Grinyakin was initially planned as the cinematographer, and the lead roles were contested by: Vladimir Mashkov for the role of Sokolov, Alexandra Bortich for the role of Katya, Kuzma Saprykin for the role of Maxim Shustov, Alexander Pal for the role of Sergey, and Kirill Zaitsev for the role of Velichuk.
- Filming took place from May to September 2019 in Karelia, the Moscow region, Taganrog, Vsevolozhsk, and Vladimir. The crew was advised by specialists from the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Aviation Forest Protection Service, who also provided aircraft: Mi-8 helicopters, Il-62 and An-26 planes, and multipurpose Be-200s.
- To create the element of fire, pre-cut trees were purchased, which were then used to build large-scale forest sets.
- The film includes real footage of forest fires in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
