Thank You For Coming

Thank You For Coming is an Indian comedy-drama about Kanika Kapoor, a food blogger who has spent years chasing romance without finding real satisfaction. Pressured by family and friends, she agrees to marry a dependable man rather than hold out for passion. At her own engagement celebration, she experiences genuine sexual fulfillment for the first time, but the encounter happens in the dark and she has no idea who her partner was. Much of the film follows her attempts to work out his identity while dealing with the expectations placed on her by those around her.

Karan Boolani directs from a screenplay by Radhika Anand, with Rhea Kapoor, Ekta Kapoor and Anil Kapoor producing through Balaji Motion Pictures and Anil Kapoor Film & Communication Network. Bhumi Pednekar leads as Kanika, supported by Dolly Singh, Shibani Bedi, Natasha Rastogi, Dolly Ahluwalia and Pradhuman Singh. The film runs 117 minutes and was released in October 2023.

Audience response has been modest: on IMDb it holds a rating of 4.2 from roughly 14,000 votes, while on TMDB its score is 4.8 from a much smaller base of 12 ratings, indicating a limited record among that site's users.
