A Nice Jewish Boy

A Nice Jewish Boy follows Bellisha, a twenty-seven-year-old man living with his mother, Giselle, in a low-income neighborhood. As the local synagogue and the final kosher grocery store shut down, the pair find themselves as the only Jewish residents remaining in the area. While Giselle believes they must leave for their own well-being, Bellisha is reluctant to move. He feels content in his surroundings despite community tensions and his mother's failing health, leading him to pretend he is planning their departure to appease her.

This French comedy-drama was written and directed by Noé Debré.
