Toni is a French comedy and drama about a forty-three-year-old single mother of five. Two decades ago, she achieved national fame through a singing competition and a successful hit single. Now, she balances the demands of raising her teenage children with singing in bars to support her family. As her eldest children prepare for university, she begins to wonder about her own future and whether she can reclaim her identity beyond her roles as a parent and daughter.
The film was written and directed by Nathan Ambrosioni and marks the first of three directed works, followed by Out of Love and Summergirl. Camille Cottin stars in the lead role as Toni, appearing alongside Léa Lopez, Thomas Gioria, Louise Labèque, Oscar Pauleau, and Juliane Lepoureau. A total of 29 actors are credited in the production.
