No Love Lost

Étienne became a father in his early twenties, shortly before his partner, Valérie, abandoned the family. He spent the next sixteen years raising their daughter, Rosa, in a stable and happy environment. As Rosa prepares to leave home to start her own independent life, Étienne recognizes his former wife in a television report. This discovery forces the father and daughter to confront their past and embark on a chaotic final journey together.

The film was written and directed by Erwan Le Duc, following his 2019 work The Bare Necessity. Produced by Domino Films, the French comedy-drama stars Nahuel Pérez Biscayart as Étienne, Céleste Brunnquell as Rosa, and Mercedes Dassy as Valérie. The cast also includes Maud Wyler, Mohammed Louridi, and Noémie Lvovsky. Since its release in December 2023, the movie has received a moderate reception from viewers.
