Sakra

Sakra centres on Qiao Feng, the respected leader of a travelling band of martial artists in Song-dynasty China. Raised from infancy by a poor farming couple, he grows into a formidable fighter and takes charge of the Beggars Gang, defending his homeland against invaders from the north. His standing collapses when he is wrongly accused of murdering a military commander, an elder of his own organisation and his adoptive parents. Exiled and shunned, he sets out to clear his name and uncover the truth about his origins, pursued by enemies he cannot see. The film is based on Louis Cha's wuxia novel Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils.

Donnie Yen directs and stars as Qiao Feng. It was his first film as director, followed by The Prosecutor in 2024. Kam Ka-Wai, whose directing credits begin with Big Brother in 2018 and continue through Queen of Triads 3 and two 2026 titles, also directs here. The screenplay is by Chen Li, Leping Shen and Wei Zhu, with Donnie Yen, Wong Jing and Wu Yue producing. The cast includes Yukee Chen, Liu Yase, Kara Wai Ying-Hung, Wu Yue and Eddie Cheung, among twenty credited performers. Running 130 minutes, it is a Hong Kong and mainland Chinese production.
