He is married to the actress and seiyū Yuri Kimura (木村有里).Born in Aioi City, Hyogo Prefecture, he graduated from Himeji High School, a school attached to Toyo University. He is a member of Theatre Echo, a theatre troupe and talent management firm known for its comedy sketches.
