What's left behind the scenes
- In the scene where Matt Olby tries to remember the screenwriter's first and last name, he says "Tim Bolte." It is later revealed that the character was tipsy and was talking about himself. "Tim Bolte" is an anagram of his own first and last name.
- The characters played by Sarah Paulson and Nathan Corddry are the only ones who appear on screen in every single episode.
- The series was initially titled 'Studio 7 on Sunset Strip.' The name had to be changed when it was discovered that in 2004, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment (a division of Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Group responsible for the publishing, production, and distribution of computer games) had released a game called Studio 7.
