Short description
In an elegant Spanish-style apartment building in the trendy Melrose neighborhood of Los Angeles, a diverse group of 20-somethings have formed a close-knit surrogate family. However, when a bloody body is found floating in the courtyard pool, the police soon discover that almost everyone had a reason to want the deceased out of the way.

What's left behind the scenes
- According to the original concept, one of the main characters was to be David Patterson—the son of Jake Hanson, the primary heartthrob of the original show. However, since Grant Show, who played Jake, declined the offer to return to 'Melrose Place,' this idea was abandoned.
- The first actor to sign a filming contract was Michael Rady.
- Originally, the role of Violet Foster was meant to be played by Mischa Barton, but the series producers changed their minds at the very last minute, and the role went to Ashley Simpson.
