What's left behind the scenes
- UTF officers carry equipment that differs only in a few small details from that of any police officer. Instead of telescopic batons, they carry telescopic wooden stakes. They are equipped with weapons that emit ultraviolet radiation (in case of encountering a vampire not exposed to sunlight), garlic spray instead of pepper spray, and tranquilizer darts for use against werewolves.
- Certain shots and small details show how much everything has changed—a poster at the entrance to the UTF station reading "Observe the Curfew" featuring a wolf howling at the moon; a werewolf's personal file includes a section for "fang bite."
