What's left behind the scenes
- An adaptation of Blake Crouch's novel 'Wayward Pines'.
- In Season 1, Episode 4, when Ethan Burke (Matt Dillon) reads the file on secretary Arlene Moran (Shivonne Fallon), it mentions that she used to be a school bus driver. Interestingly, Shivonne Fallon played a school bus driver in the movie 'Forrest Gump' (1994).
- In the 3rd episode, Kate puts a kettle on the stove to make tea with milk for her husband, and the kettle's whistle is open. However, when Kate begins to argue heatedly with Ethan, the kettle boils and whistles, but after she removes it from the stove, the whistle is closed.
