What's left behind the scenes
- In addition to the series, Melissa Joan Hart played Sabrina in the television movies 'Sabrina the Teenage Witch' (Tibor Takacs, 1996, which served as the pilot episode for the series), 'Sabrina Goes to Rome' (Tibor Takacs, 1998), and 'Sabrina Under Pressure' (Kenneth R. Koch, 1999).
- Despite the title of the series, Melissa Joan Hart was 20 years old at the time of its first release.
- The main character's cousin, Amanda, was played by Emily Hart, the younger sister of Melissa Joan Hart, who played the role of Sabrina.
- Actress Beth Broderick, who played Zelda, left the series at the end of the 6th season. Consequently, for Sabrina and Aaron's wedding in the 7th season, the writers had to improvise, and Zelda was 'turned' into a candle.
- In every single episode, only the characters played by Melissa Joan Hart and Nick Bakay appeared.
- An animatronic model was most often used for the role of Salem, although a real cat was sometimes used. There were constantly 7 real cats, 2 models, and 2 stuffed cats on set.
- The Spellmans' address: 133 Collins Road, Westbridge (fictional city), Massachusetts, USA.
