What's left behind the scenes
- There is an object of some shade of purple in every scene of the series.
- In the mobile app Snapchat (a photo and video messaging service), Steve Winchell, played by Patrick Gibson, uses the nickname "Lost." In Nick Willing's television film "Neverland" (2011), Gibson played one of the Lost Boys.
- Some episodes were filmed at a school in Orange County, New York.
- In the episode "Far Away," Jesse returns home and watches TV with her sister, where the series "Stranger Things" (another Netflix project) is playing.
- During her clinical death, Prairie sees a woman named Hatun, played by Hiam Abbass. Hatun speaks to Prairie in Arabic.
