Short description
Sam Loudermilk is a recovering alcoholic and substance abuse counselor with an extremely bad attitude about, well, everything. He is unapologetically uncensored, and manages to piss off everyone in his life. Although he has his drinking under control, Loudermilk discovers that when your life is a complete mess, getting clean is the easy part.

What's left behind the scenes
- The titles of all the episodes are taken from song titles.
- The series is set in Seattle, but it was filmed in Vancouver. Almost all the actors involved in the project are Canadians. In this way, the creators were able to take advantage of various tax incentives and the lower value of the Canadian dollar.
