What's left behind the scenes
- The role of the secretary in the law firm's reception was played by Suzanne Packer in the English-dubbed version and Bethan Lloyd in the Welsh-dubbed version.
- Eve Myles, who played the lead role, mentioned in an interview that when she joined the project, she was the only actress in the series who did not speak Welsh, and that learning the language was very difficult for her.
- The series was first broadcast on S4C (a Welsh-language public service broadcaster) under the title "Un Bore Mercher," and later the English version was broadcast on BBC One Wales under the title "Keeping Faith." The Welsh version was 8 minutes longer because BBC One Wales has no commercial breaks.
- The Howells live in a small town in Carmarthenshire, Wales. The Welsh poet Dylan Thomas lived there until 1953.
