What's left behind the scenes
- The first season of the animated series was released on the streaming service Netflix, and although critics liked it, the series was canceled due to debates over the pros and cons of the algorithms that determine the success or failure of streaming projects. It was only about a year later, on Adult Swim, that work began on the second season.
- The series creator, Liza Hanawal, animated a dance in one of the episodes by recording her own dance and using the footage as a basis for the animation.
