Short description

Two Hong Kong cops are sent to Tokyo to catch an ex-cop who stole a large amount of money in diamonds. After one is captured by the Ninja-gang protecting the rogue cop, the other one gets his old Orphanage gang, dubbed the "Five Lucky Stars," to help him. They don't like this much, but they do it.

Jackie Chan wears an unusual tracksuit in this film – the same tracksuit was worn by a character in the popular Japanese television series 'Dr. Slump' (1981).
The film was nominated for a 'Hong Kong Film Award' for Best Action Choreography.
This film was intended to build on the success of another film – "Winners and Sinners" (1983), which Sammo Hung had previously directed.
Once, during filming in Japan, Jackie Chan had to flee from fans who recognized him. One of them grabbed onto the end of his scarf and nearly strangled the fleeing actor.
According to Mitiko Nishiwaki, the most difficult part of filming was falling after being hit by Sammo Hung. She had to fall flat, and the impact with the floor – especially her head – was quite painful.
