Short description
A hot-shot lawyer is hired by a Hong Kong chemical plant to dispose of opposition to their polluting ways. But when he falls for a beautiful woman out to stop the plant, he is torn in a conflict of interest and asks his trusty friends Samo and Biao to help out at least until they discover the true purpose of the plant.

What's left behind the scenes

  • This film was the last to feature the Hong Kong trio known as "the Dragons" (Jackie Chan, Yuen Biao, and Sammo Hung).
  • During filming, Jackie Chan injured his ankle, so a stunt double was used in some scenes.
  • The American version of the film is longer than the Hong Kong version: it runs for 102 minutes, while the original Hong Kong version lasts 89 minutes.
  • After a fight between three heroes near Nancy's house, they are taken to the police station. When they leave the police station, Sammo Hung and Yuen Biao head to the bus stop, while Jackie Chan stays to talk to a girl. The first time the camera focuses on Yuen and Sammo, Biao is on the right and Hung is on the left. Then, when they shake hands, Yuen is on the left and Sammo is on the right.
  • In the scene where Johnny comes to Nancy to apologize, he is wearing a blue denim hooded jacket, and a white t-shirt with the "Jackie Chan Stuntmen club" logo is visible underneath the jacket.
  • During the final fight, Benny Urquidez hits Jackie Chan in the nose, and a stream of blood immediately flows from above his upper lip and down his chin. Chan wipes the blood from his upper lip with his palm, but it disappears from his chin on its own – there is no blood visible in the next frame.
  • The film became the last to feature the Hong Kong 'dragons' trio (Jackie Chan, Yuen Biao, Sammo Hung).
