Swingers

Mike Peters is an aspiring actor who has moved from New York to Los Angeles to build a career, leaving behind a long-term girlfriend who did not follow him. Six months later, work is scarce and the relationship is over, but Mike cannot stop waiting for her to call or imagining that she will come back. His friend Trent, a fellow actor with a more confident approach to the city's nightlife, tries to pull him out of his rut, taking him along to parties, bars and clubs. Their other friends, including Rob, Sue and Charles, join the effort, though Mike keeps drifting back to thoughts of his ex. Jon Favreau wrote the screenplay and plays Mike; Vince Vaughn appears as Trent, with Ron Livingston, Patrick Van Horn, Alex Désert and Heather Graham among the credited cast of 61.
