Short description
Carlo, a former mobster, is abducted by five privileged young men desperate to raise a $2 million ransom to save the sister of a friend. As Carlo plays mind games, however, his captors splinter -- each wondering whether one of their own had a hand in the crime.
What's left behind the scenes
- The film uses a fragment from Quentin Tarantino's drama 'Reservoir Dogs' (1991). Director Peter O' Fallon was permitted to make borrowings only from films whose rights are owned by Artisan Entertainment.
- Denis Leary improvised almost all of his character's lines.
- Several different endings were filmed for the movie. The theatrical version used the ending that test audiences liked the most; all others can be found on the DVD releases.
- When the power goes out for the first time, the clock on the microwave continues to work.
- In the final scene, the swim trunks worn by Sean Patrick Flanery switch between yellowish-brown and dark green.
- The placement of the adhesive tape wrapped around the character played by Christopher Walken constantly changes from shot to shot.
