Short description
Heiress Joanna Stayton hires carpenter Dean Proffitt to build a closet on her yacht—and refuses to pay him for the project when it's done. But after Joanna accidentally falls overboard and loses her memory, Dean sees an opportunity to get even.
What's left behind the scenes
- Due to the yacht's soothing rocking on the waves, members of the film crew and actors periodically fell asleep during filming.
- During filming, Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell’s children were constantly present nearby.
- The Point Evans boat, on which Dean travels with his sons to find 'Mom', was an active U.S. Coast Guard vessel at the time of filming. It was commissioned in 1967 and decommissioned from the Coast Guard in 1999, then transferred to the Philippines.
- Annie accidentally cuts off the scarecrow's head with a chainsaw. Under the scarecrow's right eye is a piece of fabric in the shape of a five-pointed star. This is a reference to the makeup on Alex's right eye, the main character of the dystopian film 'A Clockwork Orange'.
