Three intelligent students, Ravi, Adi, and Surya, are devastated to discover that their school grades are slightly too low to enter their preferred college. In a moment of anger, Ravi interrupts his grandfather's classical music class by playing the guitar. Rather than reacting with anger, the grandfather challenges the three boys to a musical competition followed by a bicycle trip to Kanyakumari. These tasks serve as trials to test the endurance, character, and intellect of the youths.
