Cleaner

A group of radical activists storms the annual gala of an energy company and takes 300 hostages. A former soldier, now working as a window cleaner, is left hanging on the outside of the skyscraper when the takeover begins. She is the only person in a position to reach those trapped inside, among them her younger brother.

Martin Campbell directed the film, the seventeenth of eighteen features in his directing career, following Dirty Angels in 2024 and preceding Just Play Dead in 2026. The screenplay is by Paul Andrew Williams, Simon Uttley and Matthew Orton, and the producers are Callum Grant, Michael Kuhn and Thomas Fanning. Daisy Ridley plays Joey Locke, with Taz Skylar, Clive Owen, Flavia Watson, Ray Fearon and Rufus Jones among the main cast. The production credits list 39 cast members and 70 crew members.

Set in the United Kingdom and running 97 minutes, Cleaner is an action thriller that was released in February 2025. It drew a worldwide box office of about 1 million USD, a modest return.
