Laurin

Set in a German coastal town at the turn of the 20th century, the story follows a nine-year-old girl named Laurin. As children begin to vanish from the community, Laurin is plagued by disturbing visions and dreams of a mysterious man in black. The situation worsens when her mother dies under strange circumstances that appear accidental, though Laurin suspects a darker truth. Her suspicions grow as a new teacher arrives in town, leading the girl to seek the secret behind the disappearances and her mother's death.

The film was directed by Robert Sigl, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Ádám Rozgonyi. The cast features Dóra Szinetár in the title role, alongside Brigitte Karner, Károly Eperjes, Hédi Temessy, Barnabás Tóth, and Kati Sír. Produced by Südwestfunk, Dialóg Filmstúdió, and Salinas Filmproduktion, this joint German-Hungarian production blends elements of drama, fantasy, horror, and mystery over a runtime of 84 minutes.
