The Reincarnation of Golden Lotus

A woman in China finds that her physical beauty leads to a cycle of abuse and societal restriction. After enduring violence and forced labor, she escapes to Hong Kong and marries a wealthy banker. Through visions and memories of a past life as an ancient courtesan, she realizes she is repeating a tragic pattern of existence. She attempts to resist this predestined path to avoid the same fate as her previous incarnation.
