Short description
A group of college students decide to take part in a witch hunt tour inspired by a horror movie. As the adventure goes awry, the students realise that an evil being has followed them home.
What's left behind the scenes
- Residents of Burkittsville disapproved of the idea of filming a sequel to "The Blair Witch Project" and, according to the director, simply drove the film crew out of the settlement. The documentary footage at the beginning of the film is assembled from excerpts of interviews with the few locals who agreed to speak with the filmmakers.
- The scene of the film being played in reverse – a repetition of a similar scene from the film "The Exorcist".
- Before filming began, Joe Berlinger asked all the lead actors to watch as many horror films featuring supernatural forces as possible.
