Flesh, Blood, Even a Heart

Flesh, Blood, Even a Heart is a Latvian comedy and drama about a woman named Liv who faces a series of overwhelming personal challenges. As her estranged father, who struggles with alcoholism, nears death, she must navigate confusing interactions with hospital staff while dealing with a broken washing machine and her partner's impending midlife crisis. Although Liv initially believes these are manageable adult issues, she discovers that the situation is more difficult than she anticipated.

The film was written and directed by Alise Zariņa and produced by Alise Rogule and Roberts Vinovskis through Mima Films and M-F Production. The main cast features Ieva Segliņa in the role of Līva, alongside Gatis Maliks as Mārcis, Leonarda Kļaviņa-Ķestere as Gundega, and Eduards Johansons as Egils. Released on March 6, 2026, the movie has a total runtime of 93 minutes.
