Foodfight!

Foodfight! takes place in a supermarket that turns into a city once the doors close for the night. Aisles become streets and boxes become buildings, and the place is populated by famous advertising mascots who spend their nights at a club called Copa-Banana. Their routine is disrupted when a villain known as Brand X arrives with plans to take control of this world, leaving the mascots to fight back.

The film was directed by Lawrence Kasanoff, who wrote the screenplay with Brent V. Friedman and Rebecca Swanson, and produced by Robert Engelman, Lawrence Kasanoff and Joshua Wexler. It was made by Threshold Entertainment, Threshold Animation Studios, C47 Productions and Natural Image, with a budget of 65 million US dollars. The voice cast features 42 credited performers, among them Charlie Sheen as Dex Dogtective, Hilary Duff as Sunshine Goodness, Eva Longoria as Lady X, Wayne Brady as Daredevil Dan, Christopher Lloyd as Mr. Clipboard and Chris Kattan as Polar Penguin. It runs 91 minutes and was released on 15 June 2012.

Reception has been extremely negative. On IMDb, the film holds a rating of 1.3 out of 10 from around 13,000 votes, while on TMDB it has a rating of 2 out of 10 from roughly 161 votes. Both audience scores place it at the very bottom of the scale, with the small gap between them reflecting the very different sizes of the two voting groups rather than any real disagreement.
