Big Fat Liar

Jason Shepherd, a fourteen-year-old with a reputation for lying, writes a school assignment that ends up in the hands of Hollywood producer Marty Wolf. Wolf turns the story into a blockbuster without giving Jason any credit, and because of Jason's habit of stretching the truth, no one believes the work was his. Determined to set the record straight, Jason travels to Los Angeles with his friend Kaylee to confront the producer and reclaim what is rightfully his.

Dan Schneider wrote the screenplay, and Brian Robbins and Michael Tollin produced through Tollin/Robbins Productions. Frankie Muniz plays Jason, with Paul Giamatti as Marty Wolf, Amanda Bynes as Kaylee, Amanda Detmer, Sandra Oh and Russell Hornsby among the credited cast of forty-eight.
