Stork of Hope

During the early stages of World War II, two Jewish brothers are separated after losing their parents during the Nazi invasion of Belarus. While held in a German hospital under brutal conditions, the siblings divide a family photograph so that each may keep a piece of their parents' image. One brother is hidden from the Nazis by a courageous couple who give him a new identity. Years later, the brothers reunite as adults in Israel to recover their shared memories.

Written, produced, and directed by Alexander Franskevich-Leie, this historical war drama is a co-production between Germany, Israel, and Poland. The film features Andrey Davidyuk in the role of a young Ilya and Jean-Marc Birkholz as an SS officer named Jürgen. The movie has a runtime of 108 minutes.
