The story follows her from her early artistic beginnings through the later years of her life, spanning several decades from the 1960s to the 1990s. The narrative focuses on her commitment to social movements and her activism for independence, while also exploring her personal relationship with politician Gérald Godin.
The film was directed by Anaïs Barbeau-Lavalette, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Véronique Côté.
