Samantha Crawford is a published author and illustrator living a peaceful life on a ranch. Her world collapses after her husband, Billy, is killed in a random act of violence, leaving her without faith or the will to continue living. A chance encounter with two children leads her to reunite with Joe, a childhood friend who works with youth in an impoverished neighborhood. Through Joe's dedication to these children, Samantha begins to rediscover hope and a sense of spiritual connection.

This 2012 drama was written and directed by Brent McCorkle, marking the first of three films he has directed, followed by Jesus Revolution and I Can Only Imagine 2.
