Cold Creek Manor

Cold Creek Manor follows Cooper and Leah Tilson, a couple who leave New York City behind and move with their children into a run-down country estate known as Cold Creek Manor, which they buy at a foreclosure sale. Planning to restore the large property, the family settles in among the belongings the previous owners left behind. Their new life is unsettled by Dale Massie, the former owner, who has recently been released from prison and offers to help with the renovations. His interest in the house soon appears to run deeper than simple attachment, drawing the Tilsons into the house's troubled past.

Mike Figgis directed the film, working from a screenplay by Richard Jefferies, with Figgis and Annie Stewart producing. It followed several earlier Figgis features, among them Leaving Las Vegas (1995) and Timecode (2000), and came between his 2000 film and Megadoc (2025). Dennis Quaid and Sharon Stone play Cooper and Leah, with Stephen Dorff as Dale Massie. Juliette Lewis, Kristen Stewart and Christopher Plummer also appear. The film runs 118 minutes.

Cold Creek Manor was released in September 2003. Against a budget of 45 million US dollars, it took in about 29 million worldwide.
